MCNEX unveils innovative next-generation mobile and automotive technologies at CES2025 

 

MCNEX further strengthened its global technological competitiveness by introducing next-generation mobile technology and electronic solutions at ‘CES 2025’, the world’s largest IT exhibition. 

 

MCNEX, which participated in this exhibition held from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas, USA for 11 consecutive years, unveiled a large number of next-generation video solutions and new business products that will lead the future of mobile devices and electronics.

 

 

 

 

 

MCNEX is attracting attention with the unveiling of a next-generation autonomous driving video system, and is seeking to expand its global customer base by unveiling a high-pixel camera using the laser soldering method and a multi-polarization camera. In addition, we will further enhance the safety of autonomous driving by introducing an integrated camera and video system optimized for autonomous driving, which is being applied to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), a core technology in the autonomous driving field, and is entering full-scale commercialization. 

 

In particular, the laser soldering method's high-pixel integrated camera and multi-polarized camera have been researching structures that are suitable for vehicle interior and exterior environments and optimized for temperature changes based on analysis of domestic and international technology trends since 2022, and the laser soldering structure camera is based on existing technology. It can be said to be a technology that reflects optimal convergence conditions one step ahead.

 

 

MCNEX is also targeting the in-cabin market by unveiling an internal safety system that is installed inside self-driving vehicles and controls the  vehicle by monitoring the status of the driver and passengers to ensure passenger safety. MCNEX plans to expand into the global market by upgrading performance based on the indoor camera technology it is mass producing. We additionally introduced products that enhance vehicle security through driver identification, such as fingerprint recognition systems and facial recognition for vehicles currently in mass production, and also introduced various biometric technologies applied to vehicles.

 

The integrated ECU related to biometrics also obtained certification to the international automotive cybersecurity standard for SW security.

 

 

 

MCNEX showcases next-generation ultra-slim and folded zoom, new growth engine at CES2025

 

 

The ultra-slim, high-pixel camera module displayed this time is equipped with an innovative slim actuator and package in line with the slimming trend of smartphones, greatly reducing the thickness compared to existing products, and the 5x optical and 10x optical folded zoom cameras have a periscope structure. It provides excellent image quality while minimizing thickness.

 

The 3D sensing ToF camera precisely captures three-dimensional information about objects and spaces based on time of flight measurement technology, and this technology is a next-generation essential technology that can be used in various industrial fields such as AR, VR, robots, medicine, and automobiles. am. In particular, MCNEX is developing a 2-channel ToF camera capable of sensing at a greater distance than existing technologies, and plans to secure a technological advantage through this.

 

An ultra-small fingerprint recognition module was also unveiled that fits the trend of higher performance and slimmer smartphone displays. In addition, we are introducing a biometric sensor module that can measure heart rate, body temperature, and body fat for wearable devices, presenting new possibilities in the digital healthcare market.

 

 

 

 


 

In the new business area, the OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) product line was unveiled. High-performance electronic semiconductor SIP modules have shown scalability into next-generation technology fields such as 5G, AI, autonomous driving, and IoT. In particular, through CIS package mass production technology, we have established an integrated process from image sensor package production to camera module manufacturing, ensuring both quality and cost efficiency.
